Study Aims
The INVOLVE is exploring the views of pregnant women from different ethnic backgrounds on participation in vaccine research studies.
We recognise that taking part in research is a personal decision and many factors can contribute to this decision. The experience of participation in research might be different for people from different ethnicities and we are keen to understand this better.
By identifying and exploring these views we hope to be able to encourage participation in the future and ensure ethnic minority groups are better represented in our research.
What does participating in the study involve?
The study team are looking for pregnant women from non-white ethnicities to take part. Participation includes a 30-minute interview (held remotely on Microsoft Teams) to share and discuss their views, concerns and thoughts on pregnancy vaccine research. Participants will receive a £20 gift voucher to compensate you for your time. We are interested in hearing people’s thoughts and opinions about research: there are no wrong answers!
